A Rational Mind is 1 yr old!

I cannot believe it!
Simply cannot!

Its seems like only yesterday night that I sat down and typed my first ever article “Mumbai Terror Attacks”.

It was all about letting out the steam and frustration at that time but during the course of writing I ended up giving out solutions to the problem.
(Not one of them has been implemented..Except Force One)

Its been a great journey since then… writing about various topics ranging from Shivaji Maharaj to food to politics to humor to romance to ..blah blah blah.

I even wrote my first Hindi poem.. :D

In the meantime I also won the “2nd Best blog award” in March 09 – thanks to Mumbaibloggers.net

Its been great. And I promise you its going to be greater.

I thank you all, my dear readers!
I bow down to you in gratitude today and will continue to do so in the future!
Thanks Thanks n still more Thanks!!

In this moist sand,

I stand.

The waves are crashing on the shore,

With a mighty roar

And I see two pairs,

Of footprints in the sand…

Yours & Mine…

The small and cute

Are no doubt, yours.

Like the white sand they are so fine!

The bigger and trollish are mine,

Of that I am sure!

Not long ago did we walk,

Long walks on the beach.

We held together our hands,

And for each other,

Did our hearts reach!

Our walks in the white sand

Are clear like the full moon night in my mind,

And I can still see,

Our footprints in the sand…

When we stared out at the sea,

Nothing was said

But so much was spoken!

Two lost souls sitting on a dune,

Together found everything to their tune!

When we sat lost in each other’s arms,

The magnificent moon showered on us,

All its charms.

You gave me the warmth,

To face the cold.

You gave me the strength,

To face this world!

All good things do come to an end

And one day you left me forever,

Disappearing round the bend.

I thought I could not live without you

Then why is it that I am alive still,

And find this to be untrue?

Why do I then excel in

Whatever I do?

It was then, the answer I found,

The ways of true love

Surely do astound!

You never ever left me

But inside me you are

And will always be alive

And will make me thrive!

With moist eyes,

In the moist sand,

I now stand.

The waves still crashing on the shore

With a mighty roar.

I see only one pair

Of footprints in the sand….

The Stock Market is a Woman…because…

- It is highly unpredictable. Even God cannot predict its behavior.

- It works on sentiments. However much you technically and fundamentally analyze a woman – sorry Stock
Market – you will go wrong somewhere down the line!

- Most of its lovers are men!

- It breaks hearts…it does! And when it does that people take a long time to recover or commit suicide!

-Even after losing all their money because they fell in love with a scrip, people will still go and fall head over heels with another scrip..and lose out again :)

- People ogle at the tickers

- The rise and fall is the future indicator of (your) economical conditions…Beware!

:D

 runner

Run!!

Did you just have an argument with your family?

Does your friend not listen to you?

Had a disagreement with your *ahem* ?

Your teacher pissed you off?

Feel you should have bashed up that chirkut on the train?

Then Run!!

Believe me the one of the most effective ways of facing your problems is running..not from them…but running to throw out your frustrations so that you are better equipped to tackle them!

Run! Get that lazy ass out of that chair!

Move those legs, let some blood pump into those muscles! Your muscles are dying a slow and painful when you just sit in front of that monitor and succumbing to your addictions of facebooking and orkutting! Limited blood flow and lack of movement will sap them of their vitality and make them grow old faster!

Get up and run!

At first, you will feel like giving up. But persevere, keep running.

Your breath will start coming in gasps! Never mind, continue.

You heart will be pounding against your ribcage crying to you to stop this torture. Don’t listen to your heart.

Your lungs will be burning and legs will start getting heavier and heavier. Keep moving.

For this one time, listen to your mind for it will be your closest ally and your heart, your best enemy!

Best because although it begs you to stop, it still keeps on pumping, doesn’t it?

Torture your body. Break your own spirit. Into tiny tiny pieces.

Push your body to the limits of exhaustion. Make your mind weep. Make yourself feel that you might kiss the tarmac any second now.

But then a miracle will happen. Your mind does not let you fall. It keeps you on your feet – literally!

New energy and power-you never knew you had- flows through your body!

You do not feel tired anymore! Your body and mind are in rhythm now – in tune with each other.

Your heart stops complaining. It cannot fight you so it joins you!

You now feel you can keep running for a very long time!

And by the time you realise, your frustrations have just disappeaered. You appear much calmer, composed and you emerge much fitter both physically and mentally.

So that you are ready to once again accept all the trashy frustrations in the world!

Ready to stand up to the world and face it like a man!

So the next time you meet any chirkut on the train you’ll not only give him a piece of your mind but a taste of your knuckles too!

I love running.

Running liberates me! It has infinite health benefits! But the best is it offers you the opportunity to watch ‘people’ run (closely) in ‘too short’ shorts which you wouldn’t have got the chance to do normally ;)

Ciao Meow!
